Privacy Policy

Your Privacy Matters

M3U Playlist Player is designed to be privacy-first by default. We do not collect, store, or sell any personal information. Here's exactly what that means.

Last updated:

1. Information We Collect

We collect no personal information. M3U Playlist Player is a client-side web application. All playlist parsing, channel browsing, and stream playback happens entirely within your browser. We have no servers that receive or store your M3U URLs, playlist data, or viewing history.

We do not use analytics platforms, advertising SDKs, session recording tools, or any other third-party tracking technology.

2. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not set any tracking cookies. The application may use your browser's Local Storage solely to remember your last-used playlist URL or player preferences (e.g. volume level) between sessions. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

You can clear this data at any time via your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data for m3uplaylistplayer.com.

3. CORS Proxy Usage

If you use the optional CORS proxy feature to load a playlist that your browser cannot fetch directly, the playlist file URL is sent to a third-party proxy service to relay the request. Only the playlist file URL is proxied — your stream traffic is never routed through any proxy. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of the proxy provider you use.

4. Third-Party Content

M3U Playlist Player loads font files from Google Fonts to render the user interface. Google's servers will receive your IP address as part of this request. For information on how Google handles this data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

When you play an IPTV stream, your browser connects directly to the streaming server specified in your M3U playlist. We have no control over those connections or the privacy practices of those servers.

5. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through our service, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
